Raymond Joseph Tennyson, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at his residence.
He was born May 20, 1954, in Washington, D.C., to Raymond A. Tennyson and Mary Dorothy (Tomlinson) Tennyson.
Survivors include brother, Robert Tennyson of Texas; sister, Anne Marie Seltenright and husband, Craig, of Fishers; and nephew, Kendall James Tennyson of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, who was a special agent in the FBI, and his mother.
Raymond was a 1973 graduate of Lawrence Central High School. He also studied forestry at Vincennes University. Raymond's hobbies were researching military history and collecting coins.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Home & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the funeral home.
